The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is making a bold push to reform the nation’s organ procurement and transplantation system following alarming findings from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
Under the leadership of Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., HHS launched a probe into organ harvesting at hospitals across the country.
The investigation, which focused on organ donation protocols, revealed that some patients were still alive when their organs were harvested.
As Israel continues its assault on Gaza, enables settler violence in the West Bank, and launches strikes on Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen, American conservatives are taking special note of one form of Israeli belligerence: attacks on Christians in the Holy Land.
An Israeli tank last week shelled the only Catholic church in Gaza, killing three and gravely wounding several. Over in the West Bank, settlers in recent weeks have intensified their attacks on Christian communities, including in the town of Taybeh, where they set cars aflame and erected a sign that read “there is no future for you here,” among other indignities.
Many American Christians, including high-profile MAGA influencers, have had enough—jeopardizing one of Israel’s most vital bases of Western support.
The U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee revised without fanfare its eligibility rules to comply with President Trump’s executive order on women’s sports, effectively barring male-born athletes from competing on women’s teams across the Olympic landscape.
A Christian man has been arrested in Lahore under Pakistan’s controversial blasphemy laws, following what local rights groups allege is a fabricated accusation stemming from a neighbourhood dispute—not a religious offence.
Aamir Masih, a retired government education worker and father of two, was taken into custody by South Cantonment police after Sanwar Ali, a Muslim shopkeeper in Nishat Colony, lodged a complaint accusing Masih of making derogatory remarks about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The FIR was registered under Section 295-C of the Pakistan Penal Code, a section that carries a mandatory sentence of life imprisonment or death.
The complainant alleges that Masih made the remarks during a discussion in his shop about the country’s current political and economic challenges. According to the FIR, Masih fled the scene when confronted.
However, local residents and human rights defenders have strongly contested the allegations, saying the charge is being misused to settle a personal grudge related to a drainage dispute.

The new authorities in Damascus have largely been met with a cautious sigh of relief by the international community.
Al-Sharaa has met with leaders from Western powers, including the UK, the EU and the US. Donald Trump even called the new president “handsome”.
What followed was the lifting of many crippling sanctions that were imposed on the Assad regime for crimes against the Syrian people. Today, 90% of the population still lives below the poverty line, and the economy hangs by a thread.
Although many have lauded al-Sharaa for providing stability to a country ravaged by over a decade of war, Syria has endured multiple eruptions of interethnic violence, notably in early March when Alawite communities were massacred in coastal regions.
While al-Sharaa at the time called for calm and promised an independent investigation into claims that government-affiliated forces initiated what one commentator called the “orgy of violence,” many believe the president was complicit.
“They asked (the Alawites) to hand over weapons,” the Suwayda resident said during their interview. “When the weapons were handed over, and the Syrian coastal area became isolated … they attacked and committed terrible massacres against humanity.”
“The entire villages were killed and exterminated. Houses and houses were burned.”
Sheikh Hikmat agreed, adding, “They use a local group to stir up strife, and then they carry out mass killings against their opponents.”
An activist federal judge says Planned Parenthood may have a First Amendment right to challenge a law that deprives it of federal Medicaid dollars.
Massachusetts District Judge Indira Talwani, an Obama appointee, ruled last night that Planned Parenthood can challenge a provision in the recently passed federal budget reconciliation bill which generally prohibits abortion vendors from receiving Medicaid dollars. The judge’s ruling extends a temporary injunction she offered soon after the passage of the bill; in fact, the temporary restraining order was unbelievably fast and unrealistic according to at least one legal scholar.
Much of the ruling reads like a Planned Parenthood news release, with the decision repeating the false claim that only 4% of what the abortion vendor does is abortion. (The corporation used to claim it was 3%).
However, the ruling does not completely stop the defunding of Planned Parenthood. It only applies to Planned Parenthood affiliates who will not be killing babies as of Oct. 1, 2025 and to those who received less than $800,000 in Medicaid payments in fiscal year 2023 (which is part of the law).
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s coalition government is once again in danger of collapsing after an ultra-Orthodox party made its intentions to leave the government public. The group is not large enough to immediately cause a collapse, but the concern from the Netanyahu camp is more defections will follow.
The faction left the government over a proposal to end military exemptions for religious students. The orthodox communities typically support conflict, in general, yet their children are largely exempt due to being “religious students.”
Netanyahu’s governing coalition is fracturing. What does it mean for Gaza? – National– globalnews.ca Source Link Excerpt:
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government suffered a serious blow on Tuesday when an ultra-Orthodox party announced it was bolting the coalition.
While this doesn’t immediately threaten Netanyahu’s rule, it could set in motion his government’s demise, although that could still be months away. It also could complicate efforts to halt the conflict in Gaza.
United Torah Judaism’s two factions said they were leaving the government because of disagreements over a proposed law that would end broad exemptions for religious students from enlistment into the military.
Military service is compulsory for most Jewish Israelis, and the issue of exemptions has long divided the country. Those rifts have only widened since the start of the conflict in Gaza as demand for military manpower has grown and hundreds of soldiers have been killed.
The threat to the government “looks more serious than ever,” said Shuki Friedman, vice president of the Jewish People Policy Institute, a Jerusalem think tank.
Insurrectionist rogue U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani, a Barack Obama appointee, took the law into her own hands in an effort to protect the child murder corporation, Planned Parenthood, from being defunded. The law in question comes from a congressionally passed and presidentially signed law that defunds Planned Parenthood, in essence.
The Judge blocked the provision for 14 days. No arrests have been made following this egregious, unconstitutional ruling. Judgefare continues to erode Americans’ sense of Rule of Law. Pam Bondi remains silent.

During the Covid-19 era, Pastor John MacArthur of Grace Community Church stood tall and kept his church open, defying civil law in favor of God’s law. His pastorship goes back decades and his impact on American Christianity has been significant, with many top Pastors today citing MacArthur as one of their biggest influences.
While MacArthur planned on coming back after a recent bout with illnesses, that would prove not to be the case. The Pastor caught pneumonia and died at the age of 86. MacArthur’s central gospel message was one he spoke until the end. Speaking of the job of Pastor, MacArthur said, “Being a pastor means you’re a truth-teller. The whole purpose of the Christian message is to confront the sinner’s sin so you can call the sinner to repentance and forgiveness… The true gospel is a call to self-denial. It is not a call to self-fulfillment.”

Los Angeles megachurches often resemble their Hollywood neighbors — grand stage sets with top-tier lighting and sound, carefully produced services complete with scripts, soundtracks, and a live audience. They usually plant themselves in the “nice parts of town” — Hollywood Hills, Santa Monica, Pasadena. Perfect if you’re after a Sunday pep talk and a little feel-good music to carry you through the week.
MacArthur never chased applause or tailored sermons to flatter the mood of the age.
Unlike many pastors leading congregations of similar size, MacArthur, who died Monday at the age of 86, didn’t preach to people hoping to make them “feel better” about themselves. He preached to dying souls, convinced he held the only message that could save them: the gospel — the real, unvarnished gospel of Scripture.
The Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration is accepting applications for the 2025-2026 Pregnancy Help Organizations Grant Program.
In April, Gov. Sanders signed Act 1006 budgeting $2 million in funding for grants to pregnancy help organizations.
Under Act 1006, grant money can go to pregnancy resource centers, maternity homes, adoption agencies, and other charitable organizations that provide material support to women with unplanned pregnancies.
The State of Arkansas also can award funding to charities that promote infant and maternal wellness and reduce infant and maternal mortality by:
Providing nutritional information and/or nutritional counseling;
Providing prenatal vitamins;
Providing a list of prenatal medical care options;
Providing social, emotional, and/or material support; or
Providing referrals for WIC and community-based nutritional services, including food banks, food pantries, and food distribution centers.
The July 15 ruling came in response to a challenge by GenBioPro, a Nevada-based manufacturer of mifepristone, which argued that the FDA’s approval of the drug should override the state ban. The court rejected that claim in a 2-1 decision, affirming West Virginia’s authority to regulate abortion within its borders.
“As Dobbs makes clear, that judgment belongs with the people and their elected representatives,” Circuit Judge J. Harvie Wilkinson wrote in the decision. “At a time when the rule of law is under blunt assault, disregarding the Supreme Court is not an option.”
West Virginia Gov. Patrick Morrisey, who defended the law while serving as attorney general, celebrated the ruling on X.
“Big win out of the 4th Circuit today,” Morrisey said. “I defended this law as Attorney General and am proud to see a victory in this case. West Virginia can continue to enforce our pro-life laws and lead the nation in our efforts to protect life. We will always be a pro-life state!”
According to Reuters, the decision marks the first time a federal appeals court has ruled that states may restrict access to the drug.

Mifepristone, now used in more than half of abortions nationwide, has faced renewed scrutiny after several of its longstanding safety restrictions were loosened under the Biden administration.

Asteroid 2022 YS5 is a building-sized asteroid that is scheduled to make a close approach to Earth on July 17, capturing the attention of astronomers, scientists, and space agencies worldwide. Although the asteroid is expected to fly past Earth at a safe distance, the event underscores the increasing importance of planetary defense systems, ongoing asteroid monitoring, and global cooperation in space. Both NASA and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) have confirmed that 2022 YS5 poses no threat, but are treating this event as a timely reminder of the need for continued vigilance and preparedness.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has officially confirmed that asteroid 2022 YS5, measuring approximately 120 feet (36.5 meters) in diameter, will pass Earth at a distance of about 4.15 million kilometers (roughly 2.58 million miles). While that may sound like a vast distance, it is considered relatively close in astronomical terms, especially given the asteroid’s speed of over 14,000 miles per hour (22,500 km/h).2022 YS5 belongs to the Aten group of near-Earth asteroids, known for having orbits that can cross Earth’s path. However, NASA has made it clear that this particular asteroid does not qualify as potentially hazardous, as it does not meet the two key risk criteria:
Proximity: Within 7.4 million kilometers (4.6 million miles) of Earth
Size: Greater than 85 meters in diameter
Since 2022 YS5 falls short on both counts, its flyby is being monitored but not considered dangerous.
New Hampshire state Rep. James Thibault, a Republican, filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request with the FBI July 14, seeking records related to a Biden-era memorandum that targeted traditional Catholic communities.
The request focuses on a 2023 memo from the FBI’s Richmond, Virginia, field office that flagged “radical traditionalist” Catholics as potentially linked to violent extremist groups. The memo implied that the FBI had infiltrated and spied on Catholic groups.
In a July 14 press release emailed to CatholicVote, Thibault called the memo “a systemic pattern of religious discrimination that must be exposed and stopped.”
“The First Amendment of the US Constitution and Part I, Article 5 of our state constitution protect every citizen’s right to worship God unimpeded by the government,” Thibault said, “so to think that federal intelligence may be infiltrating our churches and targeting our citizens for their worship is especially concerning to me.”
It would almost be funny, at this point, if it weren’t so serious.

A would-be mass shooter was stopped by church members before he had a chance to kill any members at the CrossPointe Community Church in Wayne, Michigan. The shooter opened fire but was quickly shot by two parishioners and run over by another, who drove her car into the church lobby to stop him.
The shooter was 31-year-old Brian Anthony Browning. He died on the scene. Fortunately, only one church member was injured. Browning began firing at church members, including children, before he was stopped. There were over 150 children present at the time. Had the church not had an armed guard, the outcome could have been a lot different. It was the shot that initially stopped Browning. Motivation for the shooting was not given. Browing had infrequently attended the church in the past.

A security guard fatally shot a suspected gunman during a Sunday morning incident at CrossPointe Community Church in Wayne, Michigan, police confirmed.
The Wayne Police Department responded to reports of an active shooter at the church, located on Glenwood Road between South Wayne and South Newburgh roads, on Sunday morning. Upon arrival, officers determined that an armed suspect had been shot and killed by a member of the church’s security team. Authorities also confirmed that one person was shot in the leg during the incident.
Police have asked the public to avoid the area as the investigation remains active.
Officials did not release the identity of the suspect or the injured individual. The motive behind the incident has not been disclosed.
The shooting occurred shortly after a church event had ended and while the service was still being live-streamed on YouTube. Video footage from inside the church shows the congregation applauding and beginning to rise from their seats when off-camera shouting begins.
Attendees are seen ducking for cover and running from the room as someone shouts, “Everybody to the back, please, everybody come to the back. Come to the back.” A loud bang follows, triggering additional screams before the video feed cuts out.
The Terminally Ill Adults bill passed the UK parliament by a narrow 314-291 vote. The bill will allow mentally competent adults with 6 months or less to live the option of having doctors euthanize them. The concern is the bill will start off with limited candidates for euthanasia, but keep expanding like Canda’s law has, which now even allows the mentally ill to “choose’ death.

Britain’s parliament voted on Friday in favour of a bill to legalise assisted dying, paving the way for the country’s biggest social change in a generation.
The legislation passed by a vote of 314-291, clearing its biggest parliamentary hurdle.
The “Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life)” law would give mentally competent, terminally ill adults in England and Wales with six months or less left to live the right to choose to end their lives with medical help.
The bill now proceeds to Britain’s upper chamber, the House of Lords, where it will undergo months of scrutiny. While there could be further amendments, the unelected Lords will be reluctant to block legislation that has been passed by elected members of the House of Commons.
The vote puts Britain on course to follow Australia, Canada and other countries, as well as some U.S. states, in permitting assisted dying.
The winner of Miss North Florida 2025 pageant, Kayleigh Bush, was stripped of her title because of her refusal to compete with biological males in a beauty pageant for women. She objected on religious grounds.
Liberty Counsel, which is pursuing the matter, said “the contract requires female beauty candidates to agree to compete against biological males, who have been subjected to medical mutilation as minor boys, and agree that these mutilated males are ‘female.’”

In the political pursuit to fight the invisible patriarchy that no one can seem to touch, see, or fully explain, leftists have decided that it’s necessary to punish the winner of the Miss North Florida 2025 pageant because she refused to sign a contract with the Miss America Organization that states “female” includes men who claim to feel some type of way deep down inside, despite not being able to explain what it means to feel like a women.
According to Liberty Consuel, “the contract requires female beauty candidates to agree to compete against biological males, who have been subjected to medical mutilation as minor boys, and agree that these mutilated males are ‘female.’”
Kayleigh Bush, the rightful winner of the Miss North Florida pageant, said this violated her religious conscience. But the left does not care about this little thing called Freedom of Religion when it violates trans dogma.
Wow. Sounds like she has got a good head on her shoulders!
Liberty Counsel had sent a letter demanding that Bush’s title be restored in April. The organization noted that the contract initially given to Bush incentivizes “child abuse in violation of Florida law,” due to many Miss and Miss Teen contestants being minors.
The contract that was given to Bush states that an “Applicant must be a Female,” which is defined as those born female or “an individual who has fully completed Sex Reassignment Surgery via Vaginoplasty (from male to female) with supporting medical documentation and records. Supporting medical documentation must be in the form of the certification attached, signed by the surgeon who performed the surgery and notarized, along with a copy of board certification and a current medical license. No alternative gender affirming surgery will suffice as acceptable in place of a Vaginoplasty.”

When it comes to federal funding, Americans are speaking loud and clear: they don’t want their tax dollars bankrolling gender ideology — or abortion, for that matter.
A poll from Life Leadership Conference (LLC), first obtained by Breitbart, revealed 64% of registered voters oppose their hard-earned tax dollars going toward “an organization that provides puberty blockers, hormone therapy, and other gender transition treatments for minors.” Of those in opposition, 76% were Republicans, 71% were Independents, and Democrats were evenly split 44% to 44%.
The poll’s findings gain added context from a recent Live Action investigation, highlighted by Breitbart, which alleged that Planned Parenthood — known as the nation’s largest abortion business and second-largest distributor of gender transition drugs — has been offering hormone treatments to minors as young as 16 with minimal parental consent or medical oversight. This revelation comes as Congress debates the “Big, Beautiful Bill,” which aims to eliminate taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood through Medicaid.
Washington — The Supreme Court on Thursday rejected Planned Parenthood’s challenge to South Carolina’s attempt to bar the organization from participating in its Medicaid program, clearing the way for the state to strip the organization of Medicaid funds.
The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 in the case of Medina v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic to find that Planned Parenthood and a patient cannot sue the state of South Carolina under federal civil rights law to enforce a provision of the Medicaid Act that aims to ensure a beneficiary can obtain medical care from the provider of their choosing. Justice Neil Gorsuch delivered the opinion for the court. The three liberal justices, Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson, were in dissent.
The court’s conservative majority reversed a decision from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit that allowed Planned Parenthood’s lawsuit against state officials to move forward and prevented South Carolina from excluding the organization from its Medicaid program.
The ruling is likely to pave the way for more states to exclude Planned Parenthood from their Medicaid programs, a move that anti-abortion rights have been pushing for several years.
“[T]he decision whether to let private plaintiffs enforce a new statutory right poses delicate questions of public policy. New rights for some mean new duties for others. And private enforcement actions, meritorious or not, can force governments to direct money away from public services and spend it instead on litigation,” Gorsuch wrote. “The job of resolving how best to weigh those competing costs and benefits belongs to the people’s elected representatives, not unelected judges charged with applying the law as they find it.”
Fr. James Martin affirms Pete Buttigieg’s belief that God helped him ‘come out’ as homosexual– www.lifesitenews.com Source Link Excerpt:
(LifeSiteNews) — During the second episode of his “The Spiritual Life” podcast, featuring openly homosexual former Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, heterodox Jesuit priest Father James Martin affirmed his statements about how his faith in God inspired him to “come out” as a homosexual and praised him as a “model of freedom” for “many people.”
While discussing Buttigieg’s experience (the exchange is viewable below from 23:48-25:08) of “coming out” while identifying as Christian, Martin asked the former secretary about whether growing closer to God helped him to “be more honest” about his sexual orientation. Buttigieg, who is “married” to another man and has two adopted children, quickly answered, “Yes,” and dove into how he learned to accept “God’s love for him as a gay man.”
“There’s two things I’m really sure about. One is that God loves me, and another is that I’m gay,” Buttigieg told Martin. “There are things you can just put … into perspective when you have put yourself in a position of being ready to accept God’s love and the unconditional nature and the infinite nature of God’s love that is taught in the best of the Christian tradition.”
Martin jumped in: “It’s great to hear you say that. … I work with LGBTQ Catholics and there are still so many people (who consider) those two things inconsistent. So thank you for being a model of freedom for so many people.”
While God loves all people, including those with same-sex attraction, the Catholic Church formally condemns homosexual activity and urges homosexuals to live a chaste lifestyle.
The Catechism teaches that “homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered” and “contrary to the natural law.” The text is very clear that homosexual activity can never be approved, and repeats that “[h]omosexual persons are called to chastity.” Homosexual acts are also mortal sins; therefore, anyone who commits these sins and does not repent through the sacrament of confession is in danger of hell.
Martin has a long history of contradicting Church teaching on homosexuality. The Jesuit priest frequently speaks of “loving LGBTQ people,” but he equivocates to downplay the fact that he endorses what the Church condemns: gravely sinful homosexual behavior.
Democrat states demand FDA end safety checks for abortion pill distribution– www.lifesitenews.com Source Link Excerpt:
(Live Action) — The states of Massachusetts, California, New Jersey, and New York have petitioned the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to remove the REMS safety requirements put in place to monitor adverse events of the abortion pill (mifepristone).
The moves comes as Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK) signaled a review.
The Petitioner States seeking to be released from following safety protocols ultimately want increased access to abortion.
The states admit that most of their abortions are already committed by pill, yet they claim the REMS safety protocols are “burdensome.”
The states go so far as to claim that known risks associated with the abortion pill aren’t caused by the pill, despite the FDA’s mifepristone label and other studies showing otherwise.
New Bill Would Stop Canada From Euthanizing Mentally Disabled People– www.lifenews.com Source Link Excerpt:
On June 20, 2025, Tamara Jansen (MP – Cloverdale – Langley City) introduced private members Bill C-218 in the House of Commons to prevent (MAiD) euthanasia for mental illness by excluding mental disorders from being considered a “grievous and irremediable medical condition” for the purposes of MAiD. If passed no one would be eligible for MAID for mental illness alone.
Bill C-218 will likely receive it’s first hour of debate in November 2025.
When Canada expanded the euthanasia law in March 2021 by passing Bill C-7, one of the expansions in the law permitted euthanasia for a mental illness alone. At that time the government approved euthanasia for mental illness alone with a two-year moratorium to give them to prepare.
After two previous delays, last year the government delayed the implementation of euthanasia for mental illness alone until March 17, 2024.
‘Education, not indoctrination’: Texas governor signs higher ed reform bill
A new law signed by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on Friday is another effort by Republican lawmakers to remove diversity, equity, and inclusion activism from public higher education.
State Sen. Brandon Creighton, the lead sponsor, described the legislation as a “bold step to ensure our public colleges and universities return to their core mission: education, not indoctrination.”
“Just as SB 17 eliminated DEI hiring last session, SB 37 now takes on politically charged academic programs and ensures students graduate with degrees of value, not degrees rooted in activism and political indoctrination,” Creighton stated in a news release.
Senate Bill 37 includes a number of structural changes in the governance of public higher education institutions.
Among other things, it creates new committees to review curriculum at least once every five years to ensure that classes “prepare students for civic and professional life.”
However, lawmakers did remove a section from the final version of the bill that prohibited curriculum that “promote[s] the idea that any race, sex, or ethnicity or any religious belief is inherently superior to any other.”
Creighton said the law, which will go into effect Sept. 1, “demands real accountability from our institutions by creating curriculum review committees in course offerings, aligning core curriculum with workforce needs, and empowering Texans to report ideological bias or political coercion in the classroom.”
Scientists have achieved a breakthrough in reproductive technology by successfully breeding normal, healthy, and fertile motherless mice using DNA from two sperm cells: no egg, no female DNA. This work is part of a broader effort to understand the advantages and disadvantages of same-sex parenting and represents a significant leap in the field. Remarkably, the motherless mice survived to adulthood, but also reproduced, demonstrating their fertility. This finding could enhance our understanding of genetic inheritance and may eventually enable the use of epigenetic programming. The paper presents compelling evidence for the future possibilities of assisted reproduction through epigenetic techniques. Ongoing research in this area opens new avenues for exploring same-sex reproductive patterns, with potential applications in biomedicine and beyond. This breakthrough significantly expands our options for creating fertile offspring.
Breakthrough in same-sex reproduction: Healthy mice born from dual sperm DNA
According to the study, published in the journal Nature, the researchers were able to breed healthy and fertile mice using DNA from two sperm, and this was achieved through epigenetic programming. Unlike previous attempts, which resulted in weak or short-lived offspring, this study yielded viable pups. The scientific demonstration involved the targeted editing of methylation using epigenetic programming, meaning that the changes do not affect the underlying DNA sequence.
