Two immigrants who escaped the Delaney Hall Detention Facility in Newark, New Jersey, were recaptured by authorities Friday.

Last week, unrest at the immigration detention center resulted in four detainees escaping. Authorities with the FBI did not publicize the renewed detention of the two recaptured immigrants until Sunday. It also remains to be seen how they were captured. The final two remain at large as of Monday morning.

Detainees were protesting the center’s conditions because they were reportedly denied food. While the immigrants inside the center demonstrated by pushing over a wall and hanging bed sheets, protesters were outside the facility and prevented a facility vehicle from following the detainees as they escaped.

The two who were recaptured were Joel Enrique Sandoval-Lopez from Honduras and Joan Sebastian Castaneda-Lozada from Colombia. Sandoval-Lopez is facing charges of unlawful possession of a handgun and aggravated assault from two separate instances. Castaneda-Lozada has charges of burglary, theft, and conspiracy against him.

Franklin Norberto Bautista-Reyes from Honduras and Andres Felipe Pineda Mogollon from Colombia have not been found. The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to their capture. Bautista-Reyes is charged with aggravated assault, attempt to cause bodily injury, terroristic threats, and a weapons crime. Pineda Mogollon is facing charges of minor larceny and burglary.

Republican governors are flexing their muscles ahead of anti-Trump “No Kings” protests set for this weekend, telling protesters to “think twice” before considering echoing recent strains of violence found in Los Angeles.

The governors of South Carolina, Texas, and Utah have issued warnings against violence ahead of the protests on Saturday. In the wake of California riots and attacks on authorities that broke out in reaction to Trump’s immigration agenda, the Republican leaders said similar acts of violence in their states will be met with a swift response from law enforcement.

Gov. Henry McMaster (R-SC) said on Tuesday that he would put South Carolina on an elevated sense of alert “if it’s necessary.” His comments came hours after South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson issued a statement saying his office is aware of potential “coordinated protests and acts of civil disobedience” planned for Saturday, adding that protestors who attack law enforcement, destroy property, or endanger lives will be prosecuted “to the fullest extent of the law.”

“If people want to protest and want to voice their opinion, that’s fine. But when you start destroying property, scaring people, hurting people that’s when law enforcement swings into action,” McMaster said. “I would urge people who want to cause trouble in our state to think twice because this is not the place to cause trouble. You will be held accountable.”

Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) revealed that the Texas National Guard would be deployed across the Lone Star state to quell possible violence, while Gov. Spencer Cox (R-UT) also had a message to send protestors: “Just a word of warning to anybody who is thinking about any type of violence or chaos or property damage or vandalism,” he said during a news conference.

“It will not happen here, and you will be held accountable,” Cox said. “We are going to be overprepared.”

The House Committee on Oversight and Reform is about to focus its investigative powers on Neville Roy Singham, the pro-China Marxist multimillionaire behind many of the destructive far-left demonstrations plaguing the United States in recent years.

The Committee is reportedly issuing a formal document request to Singham over his alleged financial support of the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL)—an extremist Marxist group that has been helping to organize violent anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles and elsewhere.

As the main funder of The People’s Forum, Singham, 71, has also bankrolled the “Free Palestine” protests that erupted after 1,400 innocent Israelis were slaughtered by Hamas on October 7, 2023. The People’s Forum works closely with other organizations in Singham’s network, including PSL and the ANSWER Coalition, all of which have been involved in the anti-Israel protests and anti-ICE riots.

PSL describes itself as a revolutionary socialist party that believes “only a revolution can end capitalism and establish socialism.”

The group supports the Communist Party of China (CCP) and argues that “militant political defense of the Chinese government” is necessary to stave off “counterrevolution, imperialist intervention and dismemberment.”

As part of their national anti-Israel mobilization efforts, ANSWER and PSL have promoted slogans such as “Intifada revolution” and “resistance is justified.”

In an effort to deter lawless behavior, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is meeting violent acts with serious charges.

Emiliano Garduno-Galvez, an illegal alien from Mexico, has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly heaving a Molotov cocktail at law enforcement during the Los Angeles riots, according to a statement from the DHS.

We will not bend the knee to lawlessness and acts of violence.

Under the leadership of @POTUS Trump and @Sec_Noem we will put the safety of American citizens FIRST not these criminal illegal aliens that sanctuary city politicians are defending. pic.twitter.com/aqlEoczrNb

ICE agents arrested Garduno-Galvez on Monday, June 9, in Los Angeles, after pinpointing him as the individual suspected of assaulting law enforcement officers with an incendiary device on Saturday, June 7.

In a social media post, DHS shows Garduno-Galvez’s mugshot and a video of a man in a hooded sweatshirt and black mask standing near a tree with a Molotov cocktail in the grass, ready to be deployed. He flicks the lighter on and produces a flame in his hand for a moment.

The masked man is with a group of other young men as law enforcement officers walk toward them in a group. The man walks toward the end of a solid fence, and moments later the now flaming Molotov cocktail is thrown from behind the fence in the direction of law enforcement. It fell to the ground, striking no one, and continued to burn on the ground.

Last night marked the 5th day of riots in Los Angeles, allegedly against recent Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers arresting and deporting illegal immigrants in the area. But so far, the media have only criticized President Trump and ICE. They have come up with their own theories, their own grievances, and as usual, pushed their narrative against the President and one of his most popular policies. Do you know who might have a better idea of why there are protests and riots? Maybe the protesters and rioters!

Greg Gutfeld pointed to this exact issue yesterday, arguing that the media knows they will make ‘better’ arguments than the protesters, and they would like to keep it that way. He said, “They know the protesters are the worst spokesmen for the protest.”

An extensive street interview by an independent journalist and YouTuber, Nick Shirley, exposed what many of the protesters think, and their reasoning is worse than what Democrat officials and legacy media are saying. Many of the protesters are fighting because California is on “stolen land,” and therefore, ICE can’t deport those here illegally, because we are all here illegally. Huh? Some others don’t even know why they are participating, and just came out to show support. Many others, as seen in footage spreading across the internet, are participating in case an opportunity to get away with looting arises.

The Justice Department told a federal court on Wednesday that it should not grant a request from Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) to block President Donald Trump‘s use of troops to quell violence in Los Angeles, saying the claims of Newsom’s lawsuit are “baseless.”

California officials had filed a lawsuit in federal court on Monday against Trump’s use of the National Guard and Marines in Los Angeles to protect federal property amid protests, some of which turned violent, over immigration raids. Newsom and California Attorney General Rob Bonta asked District Judge Charles Breyer to issue a temporary restraining order quickly on Tuesday, but Breyer instead set a hearing for Thursday to consider the motion.

In a filing to the court Wednesday, the DOJ argued California officials were attempting to stop the president “from exercising his lawful statutory and constitutional power to ensure that federal personnel and facilities are protected.”

“There is no rioters’ veto to enforcement of federal law,” the DOJ said in its filing. “And the President has every right under the Constitution and by statute to call forth the National Guard and Marines to quell lawless violence directed against enforcement of federal law. Yet instead of working to bring order to Los Angeles, California and its Governor filed a lawsuit in San Francisco seeking a court order limiting the federal government’s ability to protect its property and officials.”

“The extraordinary relief Plaintiffs request would judicially countermand the Commander in Chief’s military directives – and would do so in the posture of a temporary restraining order, no less. That would be unprecedented. It would be constitutionally anathema. And it would be dangerous,” the DOJ added.

President Trump spoke to reporters at Joint Base Andrews on Tuesday upon returning to Washington after his speech at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where he addressed the ongoing insurrection in Los Angeles and his ongoing fight with local officials.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the President has deployed the National Guard and 700 Marines to stop the insurrectionists and foreign invaders wreaking havoc on California.

California’s Democrat Governor Newsom and failed Democrat LA Mayor Karen Bass have blamed the feds for the violence and filed a lawsuit against the President’s use of federal troops.

After disembarking Air Force One, President Trump told reporters that if he didn’t send federal troops in, “Los Angeles would be burning down right now, just like the houses burned down,” in reference to the wildfires earlier this year.

When asked if he thinks anything can go wrong by involving the military, the President responded, “it can only go right. By having the military, it de-escalates.” He continued, “These people are agitators, they’re troublemakers, I believe many of them are paid. I watched them breaking up the sidewalks with a big hammer, handing pieces of the concrete to other people.”

The U.S. is evacuating some diplomatic staff from its embassy in Iraq Wednesday, and allowing families and dependents of diplomats in Bahrain and other locations to return to the U.S., as negotiations with Iran stall.

Breitbart News reported earlier Wednesday that President Donald Trump had said he was “much less confident” about the prospect of an Iran nuclear deal, after several weeks of sounding bullish about talks.

The Times of Israel reported:

The US State Department confirms that it is evacuating some of its staff from its embassy in Iraq.

In addition, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has authorized the voluntary departure of military dependents from locations across the Middle East, a US official said. Another US official said that it was mostly relevant to family members located in Bahrain — where the bulk of them are based.

So, there’s a video of a U.S Army member mouthing off about defecting to the pro-riot side, claiming she’s doing it to uphold our constitutional rights.

She also won’t be a “pawn” for Trump’s plan or something. She claimed to be speaking for the US Military. It sure makes it seem like she was the spokesperson for numerous military personnel. It’s beyond ridiculous; it’s also worthy of a court martial. She’s defying the orders of her commander-in-chief. Well, as it turns out, she’s all alone.

This individual was initially identified as having served in the Texas National Guard but was discharged in 2020. It was later revealed that she served in the US Army from 2010-2014, which was followed by a six-year stint in the reserves.  The Defense Department quickly made her persona non grata vis-à-vis speaking for the U.S. Military. Reportedly, her family is also here illegally. I think ICE needs to visit this household.

“He supports the First Amendment. He supports the right of Americans to make their voices heard,” said Leavitt.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt emphasized on Wednesday that while President Donald Trump respects the First Amendment right to peaceful protest, he strongly opposes those who engage in criminal conduct. This comes as the Trump administration sent thousands of US National Guard troops and hundreds of US Marines to Los Angeles to quell the ongoing anti-ICE riots, which erupted on June 6 following large-scale apprehensions of illegal migrants in the county.

A reporter asked Leavitt during a White House press briefing, “Can you clarify what kind of protest President Trump does support of find acceptable?

Leavitt responded, “The president absolutely supports peaceful protest. He supports the First Amendment. He supports the right of Americans to make their voices heard.”

She then emphasized that Trump has a zero tolerance policy for violent protesters, saying, “He does not support assaulting law enforcement officers who are simply trying to do their job. It’s very clear to the president what he supports and what he does not. Unfortunately, for Democrats, that line has not been made clear, and they’ve allowed this unrest and violence to continue and the president has had to step in.”

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) intends to deploy tactical units to five Democrat-led areas as anti-ICE riots continue in Los Angeles.

The agency is preparing to send tactical units to New York City, Philadelphia, Chicago, Seattle, and northern Virginia.

From the New York Post:

Previous ICE raids led to distressing scenes in downtown Los Angeles after protests quickly escalated into full-blown riots over the last five days — with Trump deploying the National Guard and US Marines to maintain order.

Newsom condemned Trump’s decisions during an emotional televised address Tuesday night, when he likened the president’s actions to those of an “authoritarian” regime.

“Donald Trump, without consulting with California’s law enforcement leaders, commandeered 2,000 of our state’s National Guard members to deploy on our streets. Illegally, and for no reason,” the 40th governor of California said.

“This brazen abuse of power by a sitting president inflamed a combustible situation … putting our people, our officers, and the National Guard at risk. That’s when the downward spiral began. He doubled down on his dangerous National Guard deployment by fanning the flames even harder.”

A federal judge has declined California Governor Gavin Newsom’s emergency request for an immediate restraining order to stop President Donald Trump from deploying military personnel to protect federal property and personnel from rioters in Los Angeles.

After California Attorney General Rob Bonta filed a lawsuit on Monday seeking to stop the deployment of both National Guard personnel and U.S. Marines, Newsom followed up on Tuesday with an emergency request seeking immediate relief.

The filing included a declaration from Paul Eck, deputy general counsel in the California Military Department, who said the federal government intends to use military personnel to assist with immigration enforcement operations. This support would include holding secure perimeters around areas where immigration raids were taking place and securing streets for federal agents.

Agents came under attack while carrying out lawful immigration raids in Los Angeles on Friday and Saturday, while similar, albeit more mild incidents have taken place in other parts of the country.

Military personnel have thus far been protecting federal buildings, though it is unclear if their mission will change in the near future.

According to Rep. Kaohly Her, DFL-St. Paul, she entered into this country illegally with her illegal parents and is currently living here illegally. However, given how we no longer live under the Biden Regime, she backtracked her statements after this bizarre omission, and now takes back all of that.

Subsequently, she has since clarified that she is, in fact, a citizen.

According to the Minnesota Reformer:

Rep. Kaohly Her, DFL-St. Paul, revealed a stunning detail about herself during a debate on the Minnesota House floor Monday: She came to the United States as a child illegally.

Side note: Her name would make this story very confusing if we were talking about trans drama-rama but fortunately, we are not.

“I am illegal in this country. My parents are illegal here in this country,” Her said.

“I am illegal in this country. My parents are illegal here in this country,” Her said she was trying to inspire empathy in her Republican colleagues, who were about to vote to take away state-funded health care for adults in Minnesota without permanent legal status.said.

Few words are as frequently misused to garner attention as the phrase “unprecedented.” Contrary to the way liberal media likes to throw the word around, everything you disagree with is not considered unprecedented. There is, of course, quite a bit of precedent for news stations like PBS using their platform to complain about “unprecedented” Republican politics.

During PBS NewsHour’s coverage of the Los Angeles riots Monday, host Geoff Bennett emphasized the unprecedented nature of both President Trump’s disregard of Governor Newsom’s rejection of National Guard support and his deployment of Marines to the city to keep the peace. Naturally, there was actually precedent for both these actions.

That didn’t matter to Bennett or his guest, Juliette Kayyem, former Obama homeland-security official and CNN pundit. When asked about the implications of Trump’s supposedly unprecedented decisions, she responded:

There’s not only no precedent to this. There’s no sort of check on it. We don’t know if this is the standard, if what happened in L.A. is the standard now for federalizing the National Guard and deployment of active military. The Trump administration has so lowered the floor and the distinction between civil and military actions, that they appear now to be one and the same.

Mayor Karen Bass has finally done something constructive and in the process, admitted the problem that she’s been trying to deny. She declared a local emergency and issued a curfew for downtown Los Angeles.

Bass should have done this by Saturday night, instead of bloviating ’til now. She acknowledged more than twenty businesses had been looted. She said the graffiti was everywhere and had caused significant damage to businesses and properties. She warned people would be arrested if they break the curfew. She explained that hundreds of officers from across the state were working with LAPD.

Los Angeles police swiftly enforced a downtown curfew, making arrests moments after it took effect, while deploying officers on horseback and using crowd control projectiles to break up a group of hundreds demonstrating against President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown.

Members of the National Guard stood watch behind plastic shields, but did not appear to participate in the arrests Tuesday night.

Hours later, many of the protesters had dispersed, although sporadic confrontations continued that were much smaller than in previous nights. Officials said the curfew was necessary to stop vandalism and theft by agitators looking to cause trouble.

The demonstrations have been mostly concentrated downtown and the curfew covers a 1-square-mile section that includes an area where protests have occurred since Friday in the sprawling city of 4 million. The city of Los Angeles encompasses roughly 500 square miles.

FIRST ON FOX – The Department of Homeland Security on Wednesday announced that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested a previously deported illegal immigrant from Mexico after he allegedly threw a Molotov cocktail at law enforcement amid rioting in Los Angeles on June 7.

LA has experienced days of unrest, with agitators setting fire to cars, throwing bricks and fireworks at police officers and vehicles, graffiting property, looting businesses, and smashing windows of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) headquarters downtown in response to ICE raids in the city last week.

Emiliano Garduno-Galvez is charged with attempted murder after throwing the Molotov cocktail.

“Emiliano Garduno-Galvez is a criminal illegal alien from Mexico who threatened the lives of federal law enforcement officers by attacking them with a Molotov cocktail during the violent riots in Los Angeles. ICE arrested Garduno-Galvez, and he is now being charged with attempted murder. These are the types of criminal illegal aliens that rioters are fighting to protect,” Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a Wednesday statement.

California Governor Gavin Newsom understands what Trump is really after in his state. Trump is trying to get the authority to use the military to go into states to help with immigration raids.

The problem that the Trump administration has run into is that they don’t have enough people in ICE to be able to meet its imposed quota of 3,000 deportations a day.

State and local police in blue states and large cities have refused to cooperate with Trump’s deportation efforts, which means that the administration has turned to trying to use the military.

The AP reported that Gov. Newsom is taking action to block Trump:

The governor’s request said it was in response to a change in orders for the Guard.

The filing included a declaration from Paul Eck, deputy general counsel in the California Military Department. Eck said the department has been informed that the Pentagon plans to direct the California National Guard to start providing support for immigration operations. That support would include holding secure perimeters around areas where raids are taking place and securing streets for immigration agents.

Alarm spread through California agricultural centers Tuesday as panicked workers reported that federal immigration authorities — who had largely refrained from major enforcement action in farming communities in the first months of the Trump administration — were showing up at farm fields and packinghouses from the Central Coast to the San Joaquin Valley.

“Today we are seeing an uptick in the chaotic presence of immigration enforcement, particularly the Border Patrol,” said Elizabeth Strater, vice president of the United Farm Workers. “We’re seeing it in multiple areas.”

Department of Homeland Security officials declined to confirm specific locations, but said enforcement actions were taking place across the southern area of the state. Advocates from numerous immigrant advocacy groups said their phones were lighting up with calls, videos and texts from multiple counties.

The Times reviewed a video that showed a worker running through a field under the cover of early morning fog, with at least one agent in pursuit on foot and a Border Patrol truck racing along an adjacent dirt road. Eventually, the worker was caught.

In Tulare County, near the community of Richgrove, immigration agents emerged near a field where farm laborers were picking blueberries, causing some
