The EU is nervous that Elon Musk’s social media app, x, will give Europeans freedom of expression outlets that that consider too dangerous for the little people to have. The European Commission is looking to craft a narrative that will allow it to target an American, Elon Musk, for future potential arrest, and his American app to be banned in Europe.

Brussels is considering punishing Elon Musk over his alleged interference in the German elections.

The European Commission is under mounting pressure to use its legal powers over social media platforms to rein in the tech billionaire ahead of next month’s ballot.

There are fears across the European Union that Mr Musk is trying to embolden the far-Right and peddling pro-Kremlin propaganda.

One of the chief concerns is that the richest man in the world has tweaked the algorithm of his social network X to deliberately push his posts to the top of users’ timelines.

In recent weeks, Mr Musk has declared Alternative for Germany (AfD) the “last vestige of hope” for Germany, as well as inviting Alice Weidel, the hard-Right party’s candidate for chancellor, for a one-on-one interview hosted on his platform ahead of the Feb 23 ballot.

Britain’s Prime Minister Keir Starmer hit back at Elon Musk on Monday after the world’s richest man repeatedly lobbed a host of inflammatory allegations at the country’s leader over his government’s record on a long-running national child grooming scandal.

Musk has accused the United Kingdom leader of being “complicit in the rape of Britain” on his X platform and has repeatedly elevated claims without evidence that Starmer knowingly refused to prosecute child groomers when he was the country’s top lawyer.

EPSOM, ENGLAND – JANUARY 06: U.K. Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer answers questions from the media. The prime minister defended his record after tech billionaire Elon Musk made several allegations about the U.K. government’s handling of historic child sex abuses in the country.

Rosa DeLauro, the top Democrat on the House Appropriations Committee, is accusing Elon Musk of attempting to push the Republicans to take a softer approach on China and the Chinese Communist Party, especially when it comes to restricting American investment in the anti-American company.

Musk has deep ties to China, specifically through his electric vehicle company, Tesla, who hopes to make billions selling to a Chinese market. While Democrats have far more ties to the CCP than Republicans, it is worth noting that whatever benefits Musk may give the Republicans, he is sure to also bring with him protection for the Chinese Communist Party, for the good of Tesla alone.

CEO Elon Musk has been accused by Rosa DeLauro of pressuring Republicans to abandon key U.S.-China investment restrictions to safeguard the EV giant’s business interests in China.

What Happened: In a letter on Friday, DeLauro, the top Democrat on the House Appropriations Committee, stated that Musk used his influence to have Republicans scrap provisions aimed at regulating U.S. investments in China, reported Reuters.

A government budget disclosure has exposed $300 million was paid to “journalists” at Reuters, all of which then wrote scurrilous articles alleging criminal activity in his businesses. Shortly after that, Biden’s anti-American government insurrectionist agents began opening investigations against Musk on multiple fronts.

In addition to their economic compensation, Reuters also received a Pulitzer award specifically for “their work on Elon Musk and misconduct at his business.” At the very least, the connections are strong enough to warrant serious investigation from the Department of Justice once its halls are led by Americans once again.

The disclosure of the huge amount of our tax dollars Joe Biden threw at wire service Reuters to use as a weapon against Elon Musk is a story of pure corruption.

Here is how the cycle worked:
-Joe Biden doled out $300 million in tax dollars to “journalists” at Reuters
-Reuters then used that money to target Elon Musk
-Then the corrupt “Pulitzer” system awarded Reuters with major awards

Humza Yousaf, Scotland’s former first minister, has announced he is to quit frontline politics at the next Scottish elections as he criticised Elon Musk’s interference in the US election and his potential role in the next UK election.

Yousaf, 39, who last year became the first Asian Muslim to lead a European government, has been sitting as a backbencher since resigning as first minister in April over a crisis with his erstwhile partners in the Scottish Greens.

In a letter to his constituency party in Glasgow Pollok, Yousaf said he would have been an MSP for 15 years when the Holyrood elections took place in May 2026, and hoped his achievements would inspire young people “of any background” to take up public service.

Elon Musk wants to meet Alex Soros to ‘understand his goals’ after comparing his billionaire dad George to an X-Men villain – fortune

Musk and the Soros clan are no strangers to swapping gibes online—but it seems something akin to a truce has finally been reached. (That being said, by now, we know to take Musk’s posts on X with a pinch of salt.)

The latest tangle between the parties occurred last night when Alex Soros—son of billionaire investor and entrepreneur George Soros—responded to an article about the popular vote count during the election.

The post claimed that although Trump had won the election, his mandate from the popular vote was not the landslide reflected by the majority he held in electoral votes (EVs).

Journalist and author John Nichols posted on X: “On election night, Trump claimed a ‘powerful mandate.’ At that point, he was winning well over 50% of the vote. But there were tens of millions of uncounted votes. As the count nears completion, it reveals that most Americans did not vote for Trump.”

Trump comfortably won the election in terms of EVs at 312 to 226.

At the time of writing, bipartisan tracker the Cook Political Report attributes 74,253,871 popular votes to Harris (48.24%) and 76,806,388 (49.9%) to President-elect Trump.

This is the point on which Alex Soros responded, writing: “It is not a powerful mandate, and the numbers are important ‘they provide Democrats and progressives, however, is an argument against despair and surrender.’ This was a close election. Not a surprise!”

The UK’s Labor Government is looking to lure Elon Musk to their country to answer to an inquiry by the House of Commons into how his social media site, X, allows “misinformation” to be spread on it. The effort is being led by far-left radical MP Chi Onwurah. Musk responded by tweeting out “They will be summoned to the United States of America to explain their censorship and threats to American citizens.”

Tensions between a Trump-led U.S. and a Soviet-led UK are sure to be high according to many geopolitical experts, especially if it becomes clear the UK really did hope to lure Musk to their country, only to arrest him (as many are claiming is the case). It would be considered something close to an act of war to take out America’s richest citizen for not violating the free speech rights of others.

Elon Musk has been flexing his opinion muscles all through Europe in comments on his social media platform X, having called German Chancellor Olaf Scholz ‘a fool’, harshly criticizing the Italian Judiciary for hindering Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s plans to send migrants to Albania, and finally saying that the United Kingdom has gone ‘full Stalin’ with their inheritance tax plans.

Now, as British MPs endeavor to investigate him, Musk is doubling down on his comments.

GB News reported:

“Elon Musk has hit back at MPs’ threats to summon him to Britain to probe him in his social media platform X’s role in so-called ‘disinformation’ during the summer riots.”

An inquiry in the House of Commons is meaning to investigate the rise of ‘harmful’ AI content online by calling tech heavyweights to probe the ‘spread of content that can mislead and harm’.

Labour’s select committee chairwoman, MP Chi Onwurah has called on the Tesla and SpaceX owner to explain his alleged ‘promotion of pure disinformation’.

“But Musk has hit back in kind, warning MPs that ‘they will be summoned to the United States of America to explain their censorship and threats to American citizens’.”

Musk replied to a post by Malaysian political commentator Ian Miles Cheong calling his invitation to the committee a ‘trap’.

“’This is a trap’, Cheong warned, adding that MPs would ‘detain him at the border, demand to see the contents of his phone, and charge him under counter-terrorism laws when he refuses’.”

The Justice Department has sent a letter to tech billionaire Elon Musk’s super PAC, America PAC, warning that its $1 million daily giveaway in battleground states may run afoul of federal law, a source familiar with the matter told NBC News.

The letter came from the department’s Public Integrity Section, the source said. That section handles election-related prosecutions and related cases.

The Justice Department declined to comment, and the super PAC’s treasurer did not immediately return a voicemail message requesting comment.

The letter, which was earlier reported by CNN, follows mounting pressure on state and federal authorities to investigate Musk’s lottery as a potential violation of election laws, including a ban on paying people to register to vote. On Monday, a group of ex-prosecutors and other former government officials sent a letter to the Justice Department requesting an investigation.

Tech billionaire Elon Musk has quietly donated a “very substantial” amount of his own money directly to a PAC that is canvassing Hispanic voters ahead of the 2024 presidential election, Fox News has learned.

Musk donated to a PAC called The Hispanic Leadership Alliance, which is canvassing voters in Arizona, California and Oregon to help Republicans up and down ballot.

Fox News has also learned that the latest FEC filings for The Hispanic Leadership Alliance will be released to the public on Thursday and will reveal the extent of Musk’s financial support. Musk’s donation to the PAC came from Musk directly and not through one of his PACs or organizations. The PAC has used the money in recent weeks to get out the Hispanic vote for Republicans.

Donald Trump’s richest supporter has been busy finding new ways to corrupt democracy.

American campaign finance laws are so ridiculously lax—thanks to a string of Supreme Court decisions such as Citizens United (2010), which loosened restrictions on dark money—that it is hard to imagine a scenario where a rich person would get into legal trouble for swaying an election. Even so, Elon Musk, reportedly the world’s richest man, with a net worth of more than $240 billion, is pushing his luck with actions that, at the very least, merit criminal investigation.

For the duration of the election, Musk has set up camp in the swing state of Pennsylvania, where he’s offering a $100 reward to anyone who signs a petition supporting the First and Second Amendments (in effect, standard right-wing agitprop)—with the possibility of a further $1 million prize for any registered voter who signs the petition.
