Chicago police officers were ordered to withdraw from the scene of a violent confrontation involving federal agents on Saturday, after an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operation in the city turned chaotic.

According to CWB Chicago, the incident began around 10:30 am when a woman called 911, reporting that an ICE agent had shot her in the 3900 block of South Kedzie Avenue. Chicago officers initially responded, but federal agents on scene said the woman was armed and part of a caravan attempting to obstruct ICE operations.

The woman, identified by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as 32-year-old Marimar Martinez, suffered gunshot wounds to her legs, arm, and chest and was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital. DHS said Martinez “was armed with a semi-automatic weapon and has a history of doxxing federal agents.” The agency added that she “took defensive fire from CBP agents” and has since been released from the hospital and taken into FBI custody.

The court granted an emergency request filed by the Trump administration seeking to block a judge’s ruling that said Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem failed to follow the correct process in revoking Temporary Protected Status for Venezuelans.

The Supreme Court, which has a 6-3 conservative majority, in May granted an earlier emergency request filed by the Trump administration in the same case.

The latest filing came after California-based U.S. District Judge Edward Chen on Sept. 5 again ruled against the administration, this time in the form of a final decision rather than a preliminary one.

Protesting in Portland every night already says a lot about you—but this video proves just how ridiculously pathetic it can get. One Antifa member may have realized that the hard way.

In the video, we see an Antifa member kick a man who appears to lean more right-wing than his attacker. The man responds in what some might call self-defense, and—well—the Antifa member ends up taken down. Or, in other words, he f**ed around and found out. What’s astonishing, though, is that both were arrested. While I wasn’t there, and it’s unclear exactly what the police saw, the video clearly shows who threw the first kick.

What I found so bizarre is that the lib instinctively chose to kick rather than throw a punch. I’m not sure what that says, but clearly, he had no clue what he was doing and gambled his chances, which he clearly lost.

But I think what’s even more bizarre is him intentionally going limp on the floor, forcing the police officer to carry him instead of walking to the cruiser—a move more immature than a toddler throwing a tantrum. I don’t know about you, but that part felt pretty unsettling to me.

President Donald Trump has reacted to a shooting in Texas this morning at an U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement facility. A shooter killed two detainees and injured a third before he apparently killed himself.

Trump said that the shooter wrote “anti-ICE” on shell casings.

“I have been briefed on the deadly shooting at the ICE Field Office in Dallas, Texas.

“It has now been revealed the deranged shooter wrote “Anti-ICE” on his shell casings. This is despicable! The Brave Men and Women of ICE are just trying to do their jobs, and remove the “WORST of the WORST” Criminals out of our Country, but they are facing an unprecedented increase in threats, violence, and attacks by Deranged Radical Leftists. This violence is the result of the Radical Left Democrats constantly demonizing Law Enforcement, calling for ICE to be demolished, and comparing ICE Officers to “Nazis.”

“The continuing violence from Radical Left Terrorists, in the aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s assassination, must be stopped. ICE Officers, and other Brave Members of Law Enforcement, are under grave threat. We have already declared ANTIFA a Terrorist Organization, and I will be signing an Executive Order this week to dismantle these Domestic Terrorism Networks. A rush was on Wednesday morning to deduce the motive of a gunman who killed one and wounded three others at a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Dallas, Texas on Wednesday morning.

But a Fox News host stepped over the line for many viewers when he suggested the shooter may have been carrying out “his own form” of justice by targeting illegal immigrants being detained at the facility.

Over a “breaking news” chyron, Fox reporters discussed what may have motivated the individual, described in initial reports as a white male, before turning to Trey Gowdy for his thoughts.

“Talk to me about this moment, legally,” the anchor asks Gowdy.

“To know the motive, you’ve gotta know the target,” he replied while suggesting that authorities will try to scour the man’s online presence and interview his coworkers to “get a sense of if he was aiming at ICE agents.”

“Or… or, was he implementing his own form of due process for these detainees and killing them?” Gowdy speculated.

“I know people love motive and in this particular case I want to know the motive,” he continued before pivoting back to safe territory, talking about how ICE agents have been “vilified for years.”

Gavin Newsom of California broke into an insane hyperbolic rant about President Donald Trump and the “authoritarian” Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents — a rant that preceded a deadly attack on a Texas ICE facility by only a few hours.

“There was a shooting this morning at the Dallas @ICEgov Field Office,” Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem wrote Wednesday morning on the social media platform X. “Details are still emerging but we can confirm there were multiple injuries and fatalities. The shooter is deceased by a self-inflicted gun shot wound.”

“While we don’t know motive yet,” she continued, “we know that our ICE law enforcement is facing unprecedented violence against them. It must stop. Please pray for the victims and their families.”
