A document from the Vatican is recommending churches do not use the phrase “Mediatrix of ALL Graces,” claiming Revelation does not validate the term and it puts on “limits that do not favor a correct understanding of Mary’s unique place.  Catholics argue the OPPOSITE is true, it is the Vatican LIMITING Mary’s powers.

Catholics fighting back site an encyclical on the Immaculate Conception by Pope Pius IX in 1849 that claimed, “God has committed to Mary the treasury of all good things, in order that everyone may know that through her are obtained every hope, every grace, and all salvation. For this is His will, that we obtain everything through Mary.”

Protestants would dispute both the papal and the traditional Catholic claims on the nature of Mary, citing, Luke 11:27-28, “As he said these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to him, ‘Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts at which you nursed!’ But he said, ‘Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!’”

FCC Considers Third Rail Move that could Revolutionize “Network Television”

The FCC is considering abolishing what has been called the third rail in broadcasting politics, the national ownership cap. This cap is set at 39%, which means station owners cannot own more than 39% of the affiliates of a national broadcaster’s network.

The move is being considered to allow, theoretically, conservative affiliate owners a chance to push back against anti-American broadcasting, with the Jimmy Kimmel kerfuffle being the foil for the theoretical action.

Conservative Buckley Institute Executive Director Lauren Noble echoed the sentiment of many conservatives, saying, “It is refreshing to see Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ portrait finally take its place alongside other prominent Yale alumni after 6 years of neglect. It is encouraging to see such an outstanding figure finally receive some recognition from his alma mater for all he has accomplished. Whoever made the decision to buck the orthodoxy at Yale Law School and at long last put the portrait up deserves credit for doing so.”

Rebels Accused of Ethnic Cleansing After Taking Sudanese City El-Fasher

Allies of the Sudanese Army, the “Joint Forces,” stated the rebels  “committed heinous crimes against innocent civilians in the city of El-Fasher, where more than 2,000 unarmed citizens were executed and killed on Oct 26 and Oct 27, most of them women, children and the elderly”.

Harvard Report Exposes Graduates are Coasting by on Unearned Grades

A Harvard degree these days is considered, in growing circles, a liability, not an asset, given the university’s hard left lurch towards insurrection against the republic. But now, a new report has exposed Harvard’s grading system.  Even the students themselves acknowledge what the data now shows, Harvard’s grades are fake. College professors pass students more to fulfill DEI dreams than to train true experts for a shared, American society. Harvard’s own report condemns them.

In the report, faculty members themselves said there’s been “a radical shift from providing critical feedback to providing emotional support.” More than 60% of the grades awarded are As, for instance, and hardly anyone ever fails. In grading, some faculty allege “[T]he College has been exhorting faculty to remember that some students arrive less prepared for college …”

The article “Far right extremists are setting up rural enclaves around the world” warns, “Close-knit networks and insular communities, which can characterize these projects, have been shown to play a role in deep ideological entrenchment. This can mean the ideology of these communities can become deeply ingrained within its members.”

MIA would not endorse any completely self-isolating and violence-justifying communities; however, the overwhelming majority of these communities are a threat to phys.org because self-sustainability is immunity from the party’s favorite soft power weapon, economic assassination. The fact that they are noticing meaning the “movement” is further along than we had hoped it was.

Trump Wins in Argentina, Pushes Milei to Win as Well

President Donald Trump openly used the full power of the United States to help self-described anarcho-capitalist Javier Milei win a surprising mid-term election that might well have saved Milei’s administration. Trump promised an essential bail-out of a Milei-led cryptocurrency bust, along with continued economic support of Argentina, but only if Milei won. Milei was allegedly behind the polls at the time.

Milei’s party managed to beat their leftist rivals in voting 40% to 31%. While his party is still not in majorities in either chamber, the House and Senate, Milei is now vote-of-confidence proof, and  his veto now has staying power since the left no longer has enough votes to override it. This means Milei’s agenda might still struggle to get fully implemented, but the left’s legislative counter is now effectively dead.

Trump Adds a New Peace Deal to His Historic Asia Trip

President Donald Trump is making historic deals during his Asia trip which coincides with the 2025 ASEAN Summit. Add to those historic trade deals a major peace deal between Cambodia and Thailand. The President facilitated this deal with Malaysia, who was also part of the peace agreement signing ceremony. Apparently, Trump told both countries that if they want good deals, they must end the conflict.

Trump stated, “On behalf of the U.S., I’m proud to help settle this conflict and forge a future for the region… Millions of people are alive today because of this peace treaty…”

Canadians Could Lose Homes to “First People” After Court Ruling

Justice Barbara Young of the British Columbia Supreme Court has ruled that the Cowichan Tribe now has “aboriginal title” to the land. The ruling happened in August, though it received little attention. Now, residents are sounding the alarm, and even legal experts are unsure if this mean people will lose their homes should the tribe simply choose to take them.

A Blaze article quotes Doug Newman, a University of Saskatchewan Law Professor, He said of the ruling, “If the law from this decision were maintained, it would be possible for them to pursue a claim against private residents too. Private residents might have some different defenses, but we don’t know how that plays out… The fact I can’t give you an answer [about whether residents could lose their homes] with any certainty is maybe the most concerning part. This could all play out in various ways.”

Click Chemistry Allows Doctors to Watch Organisms in Real Time

A new type of biochemistry developed by Carolyn Bertozzi could enable scientists to observe the complex processes of organisms in real time, a feat not yet possible. Bertozzi calls the process “biorthogonal” click chemistry because it would not interfere with the cell’s biological processes. One of the most promising uses of click chemistry will be in accelerating the process of “drug discovery,” which means what it sounds like.

Since the process allows scientists to study organisms in real time, it will lead in one way to more discoveries of root causes of ailments drugs can effectively mitigate. It will also lead to more effective drugs and more effective delivery systems as click chemistry can also be used to study the effects of drugs on organisms in real time like science never could before.

And click chemistry more broadly has supercharged the process of drug discovery.

In 2022, Sharpless, Meldal and Bertozzi earned the Nobel Prize in chemistry for their work on click chemistry.

Fetterman Gives Hope for a Post-DNC American Left

Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) has been making comments contradicting the violent anti-American rhetoric coming out of his own party. As he does so, the party plots to remove him from power. Fetterman is not conservative, he is a classic AMERICAN Democrat, who favors state healthcare but doesn’t favor destroying the constitution to get it.

Fetterman’s comments that will get him cancelled from a party now completely controlled by anti-American activists (read our continued report on the DNC on pg. 2) were this: “I know and I love people who voted for President Trump. They are NOT fascists, they’re NOT Nazis, they’re NOT trying to destroy the Constitution. I REFUSE to call people Nazis or fascists. I would never compare anybody—anybody to Hitler.”

Florida School District Forced to Allow Teacher to Hang Charlie Kirk Poster

Florida teacher William Loggans was told by the Orange County School District he could not hang a post of slain American activist Charlie Kirk. The poster read: “Never underestimate the power of your voice and the impact you can have on the world when you speak up for what you believe in.”

The Florida teacher also had posters of Rosa Parks, MLK Jr., and others up as well. He sued the school district and won. Loggans said of the win, “Instead of being told what they can have or what kind of inspirational quotes they can have in the room and on the person, now they can hear different viewpoints. They can make up their own minds. And so, this is a clear victory for my students and, frankly, for students across this nation.”

800-plus leading figures in AI and tech banded together to call for a pause on the development of what is called “superintelligence.”  Theoretically (and probably true), it is an AI model that WILL be able to out-think humans not just scientifically, but psychologically. Part of the coalition includes Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak and former U.S. National Security Advisor Susan Rice.

The key statement was signed off on by over 16,220 AI and tech professionals. The core statement is, “We call for a prohibition on the development of superintelligence, not lifted before there is broad scientific consensus that it will be done safely and controllably, and strong public buy-in.”

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino has revealed the FBI has made 28,000 violent crime arrests this year, and the year is far from over. The past 3 or 4 years, Bongino claims, the FBI averaged around 16,000 violent crime arrests per year.

Bongino said, “It shows that when you get a president, an attorney general, a deputy attorney general and an FBI leadership team that lets the FBI do FBI work, instead of getting into other nonsense like in the past. Look what happens. Your cities get cleaner.”

3D Origami Promises Better Medical Drug Delivery for Patients

Thanks to a new 3D printing method that allows the creation of micro-thin “magnetic muscles,” scientists were able to create a 3D printed origami structure that can be used to deliver medicines in targeted ways to the body. The technique is promising early on for the treatment of ulcers.

Xiaomeng Fang, assistant professor in the Wilson College of Textiles exclaimed, “Traditionally, magnetic actuators use the kinds of small rigid magnets you might put on your refrigerator. You place those magnets on the surface of the soft robot, and they would make it move. With this technique, we can print a thin film which we can place directly onto the important parts of the origami robot without reducing its surface area much.”

By infusing rubber-like elastomers with materials called ferromagnetic particles, researchers at North Carolina State University 3D printed a thin magnetic film which can be applied to origami structures.
